Laura DeCarlo offers 15+ years of award-winning expertise in resume writing, career coaching and career management as Executive Director of A Competitive Edge Career Service, LLC. She is also President of the Professional Resume Writing and Research Association / Career Directors Int'l, an innovative association of career professionals.

She is a Certified Expert Resume Writer, Certified Career Management Coach, Certified Electronic Career Coach, Internationally Certified Career and Job Transition Coach, Certified Employment Interview Consultant, Certified Web Portfolio Practitioner and Certified Career Research Professional. She holds a dual BA in Creative / Technical Writing with extensive graduate work in HR, Training and Counseling.

She is the author of the highly acclaimed Interviewing: The Gold Standard program and has been published in 15+ resume / cover letter compendiums. She has won seven prestigious resume writing and job placement awards, and has pioneered numerous industry education, outreach and recognition programs.
