Job Description:

The Manager - Search and eMarketing is responsible for leading the organization’s search engine marketing efforts (both paid and organic), which includes the development, recommendation and implementation of strategies that will enhance our marketing campaigns, site conversion, and profit margins.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, lead and implement the core SEM strategy for LME brands
  • Create, implement, track, analyze and optimize SBU’s search marketing campaigns across multiple search engines to improve site conversion and ROI
  • Assess the performance of campaigns and strategies through timely qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Research and analyze industry changes/developments in search engine and social media marketing
  • Continually leverage new tools and industry best practices to ensure peak performance for SEM and SEO
  • Recommend and implement new technologies, services, automation capabilities, and/or vendor solutions that enhance SEM
  • Creates and implements SEO campaign strategies resulting in high rankings for relevant, high-volume search terms
  • Supports and improves campaign profitability through ongoing tracking, analysis and optimization of search engine referrals, keyword rankings and other related SEO traffic metrics
  • Maintains SEO website roadmap and contributes to SEO technical requirements, to include keyword search and optimization, website structure, page structure and linking internal structures
  • Develop innovative social media marketing strategies (e.g., Facebook pages, Twitter feeds)
  • Maintain awareness of new social media marketing techniques being used by others, as well as look for opportunities to innovate and develop completely new techniques
  • Track success of social media marketing programs and develop reports for clients
  • Research and implement best-in-class search marketing and social media techniques

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Online and/or direct marketing or related strategy, client relationship development experience
  • Management – Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources<\li>
  • Travel industry knowledge or experience preferred<\li> <\ul>
