Education, Experience, Skill Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; six (6) years of marketing experience and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a managerial-level sales and/or marketing position ; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with strategic planning and execution of marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and public relations efforts in the transporation/3PL industry. Strong professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Written and verbal English proficiency. Ability to speak and write other languages a big plus.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discount interest commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
