Telvent DTN is seeking an energized, dynamic professional interested in joining a company with a fast-paced, highly creative Marketing team. The chosen candidate will conceptualize and develop design layouts and copy for corporate marketing materials including print advertising, direct mail, display graphics, tradeshow materials, brochures, newsletters, and signage. The Creative Media & Events Specialist will also be responsible for coordinating Telvent corporate events and meetings. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing.

REQUIREMENTS: • Proficient in copywriting and graphic design • Ability to coordinate large events / meetings and manage outside exhibit vendors • Ability to work with a team and independently carry out multiple tasks from start to finish • Aptitude to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines • Resourceful, creative and driven individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS: • BA/BS in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field required • Minimum 5+ years of graphic design and writing experience • Minimum 2+ years experience in event / meeting planning • Expert PC-based and Mac-based computer skills required in the latest versions of: MS Office, In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Quark • Familiarity with Flash, Macromedia and Dream Weaver a plus • Experience creating files correctly for press and Web required • Proven ability to execute copy for all types of media • Successful and proven track record of taking projects from concept to completion with the ability to stay up-to-date with current industry trends • Experience working for technology / software, B2B company a plus
