Job Description
Harris Connect, with over 650 talented employees and a commitment to leading edge technology, is the nation’s leader in Affinity-based products and services. We have an unbroken record of success over the last 45 years, including a record-setting year in 2008. Our headquarters are in Chesapeake, VA, and we are searching for a key contributor to our Marketing and Sales leadership team.

We need a seasoned analytics professional to design, maintain and employ consumer-based models for affinity based marketing programs. This person will work with cross-functional business units to operationalize models to predict response from direct mail, telephone and social media channels.

The position’s primary duties are:

To design, implement and maintain analytic models to target consumer response and purchase propensity.

To work closely with the marketing operations team to implement targeted list selection, channel marketing and maximize return on marketing dollars.

To act as a campaign manager to develop, implement and report appropriate marketing tests for the betterment of the company.

To continuously look for process/product improvement by mining the data for valuable insights.

To build custom models for our customers to ensure achievement of membership and fundraising objectives.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

A Bachelors Degree in an appropriate discipline is required; Masters Degree preferred.

3 to 5 years in progressively responsible marketing analytic positions, with a focus on consumer marketing.

Experience with SAS and SQL query tools is required.

Demonstrated communication, technical, analytic and statistical skills

Extensive experience in transforming statistical data into effective campaign strategy.

Background in membership and fundraising acquisition is a plus.
